The Governor or Mayor was the corrupt ruler of the Holy City and the Council of said city. A powerful and vain man, the Governor was an accomplished warrior. He wielded a lance, and was covered in warpaint.

The Governor was the illegitimate son of the High Priest of the temple in the Holy City. Abandoned in the desert as a baby, he grew up a member of a small Dustrider clan which found him.

He finally worked his way up to the post of Mayor of the Holy City by gaining the Council's trust through his many deeds in their service - though he had much help from Jarvis Babbit and his organization, the SEAS.

When Anthony Cole, Stina Holmlund and Bela Andras Benedek drive the Pirates out of the Holy City - the same Pirates authorized to enter by the Governor - he claims that they are the 'chosen ones' and sends them on ludicrous missions to dangerous places twice. The heroes survive both missions.

When they return with David Leighton, the Governors corruption is revealed to the Council, and he is killed by Cole in the Arena.

PersonalityEdit

Vanity and intelligenceEdit

A powerful and vain man, the Governor was an accomplished warrior. Vain, he was well aware of his power and prerogatives, and abused his position as Governer.

He was, however, not too intelligent ("thinking is not your strong point, is it now!?") and does not think before he acts or speaks. His low intelligence allowed him to be taken advantadge of by the SEAS, though he didn't seem too happy about the fact. He did, however, look up to Jarvis Babbit, though he was still insulted by him.

BiographyEdit

Early lifeEdit

The Governor was the illegitimate son of the High Priest of the temple in the Holy City, who abandoned him in the desert as a baby.

He grew up as a member of the small Dustrider clan which found him, and eventually found his way back to the Holy City and, with the help of Jarvis Babbit and the SEAS, he finally worked his way up to the post of Mayor of the Holy City by gaining the Council's trust through 'his' many deeds in their service. As the Mayor, he received a massive team of personal life guards, made up of multiple different tribes. He also had some specialized Dustrider guards.

The Governor spent much of his time sitting in his throne in the centre of the main temple hall, where citizens of the Holy City would gather to bow before him. He would also occasionally fight in the Holy City Arena, something which the audience loved.

The offworldersEdit

DeathEdit

Non canonical appearancesEdit

The Governor appears as the main focus of the ParaWorld trailer, riding atop a Tyrannosaurus and leading the entire Holy City into combat against Cole and his army.

In another trailer, after a small Dustrider army attacks a Norseman outpost, he leaves the temple momentarily to fight with and kill an Allosaurus in the arena.
